Bioparc Fuengirola: tickets, visiting time and is it worth it?
Updated October 25, 2026 · 5 min read
BIOPARC is a strong half-day choice when you want a break from beach weather, but it is not a quick petting zoo. Its compact site rewards slow observation more than racing between enclosures. The official FAQ says it opens every day at 10:00 am; closing changes with daylight, and the ticket office closes one hour before the park.
Tickets and timing
Buy ahead when your date is fixed, then compare the conditions rather than assuming every ticket is identical. The GetYourGuide option currently listed for Fuengirola starts at €29.50. The official operator controls the current rate and any reductions, so check the booking page before paying. Regular admission allows one entry only: leaving for lunch normally means you cannot return.
How long to allow
Allow a substantial morning or afternoon. Arriving at opening usually gives cooler paths and fewer competing plans. Read the day programme on arrival rather than promising yourself a particular feeding or talk, since activities can change. Shade does not remove the need for water and sensible footwear.
Who will enjoy it?
It is worth it for families, wildlife-minded adults and travellers seeking a local activity without a transfer. It is less convincing if your priority is rides, close contact with animals or a one-hour filler. Pair it with the old centre or a meal nearby, not another major attraction.
